Job summary

Sun Tan City is hiring for a high-energy role in our Overland Park area. You will assist clients, recommend products and services, and help drive sales while maintaining a clean, welcoming salon environment.

We offer daily pay options, flexible schedules, and growth opportunities. No experience is required to start—training and development are provided and performance bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all clients’ needs are met and treated professionally.
• Engage with clients to build relationships and understand their needs as a client.
• Make product and service recommendations.
• Maintain minimum sales requirements.
• Multi-task by cleaning beds and engaging new clients.
• Help keep salon and facilities clean and orderly.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced salon environment according to policy.

Task and Responsibilities:

• Assists with maintaining cleanliness of salon tanning rooms, lobby area, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
• Ability to work cohesively with a team in an upbeat and fast-paced salon environment while upholding all company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
• Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
• Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors.
• Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
