Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Retail Store Associate in Chesapeake, VA to deliver friendly, customer-first service in a busy retail setting. You will assist customers, stock shelves, operate the register, and support the pharmacy team as needed.

This part-time position offers 20 hours per week with pay between $15.00 and $18.00 per hour. A high school diploma is preferred but not required, and prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High School Diploma preferred but not required.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service and resolve issues.
• Greet customers and assist with locating items.
• Perform cashier duties accurately and follow policies.
• Restock shelves, update pricing, and assist with inventory tasks.
• Support opening/closing store activities as needed.
• Assist other departments including photo and beauty.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed and cross-train.
• Promote CVS services and loyalty programs.
