Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate in Lake Zurich, IL. This part-time position offers evening and weekend shifts, with a 28-hour cap per week, and includes duties from greeting customers to handling POS transactions and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and offering assistance
• Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system including opening, closing, and balancing
• Maintain store appearance through cleaning, organizing, and restocking
• Help meet daily production goals by processing and displaying new merchandise
• Contribute to a positive shopping environment
• Bank running, pricing, or cross-training in other departments (as applicable)
