Job summary

Dollar Tree in Metairie, LA is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, assist customers, and help with merchandising and front-end duties. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations, from merchandising to supporting customers.
• Support front-end duties and cash register as needed.
• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels, including bathrooms and floors.
• Provide a positive and respectful environment for customers and associates.
