Job summary

Chedraui USA is hiring a Part-time Associate for the Simi Valley location. The role includes stocking merchandise, operating a cash register, and assisting customers with service and information.

You will help maintain store standards and participate in daily store operations to support a positive shopping experience. Ideal candidates communicate clearly in English, are physically able to lift items, and can work a part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Read and write in English and interact with the public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions and product labels.
• Write simple correspondence and present information to customers.
• Regularly lift up to 45 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Basic PC skills and familiarity with Outlook are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section, receive, stock, and price merchandise.
• Operate a cash register and process payments and refunds.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers.
• Keep sanitation and cleanliness in all areas of the store.
• Support inventory control and basic store bookkeeping tasks.
