Job summary

Be Aveda Institutes is seeking team members to provide outstanding guest services and beauty expertise on-site in Florida. You will guide clients through the Aveda service cycle, promote products, and maintain a high level of customer care.

Qualifications include at least one year in retail or guest services, strong communication and organizational skills, and flexibility to work retail hours, weekends, and events. Training on Aveda products and services is provided.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in retail or guest services; cosmetic experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational abilities.
• Ability to attend and complete all company education.
• Retail hours including weekends, holidays, and events.
• Computer experience including retail POS usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Aveda Guest Service Cycle to ensure guests have an excellent experience.
• Maintain Average Sales of at least $55.
• Ensure on-time service flow through effective appointment booking.
• Manage all incoming calls to keep PCH below 5%.
• Provide hair and wellness expertise and achieve sales goals.
• Offer a ritual of renewal during every visit (hand treatment, makeup, neck and shoulder massage).
• Serve as a resource on Aveda product knowledge and service quality.
• Keep the retail experience center guest-ready.
• Participate in monthly inventory.
• Present a professional appearance per the dress code.

Responsibilities

• Consistently perform the Aveda Guest Service Cycle to ensure guests have an excellent experience.
• Maintain Average Sales of at least fifty five dollars.
• Ensure “on-time” service flow through effective utilization of the Salon Biz Appointment Booking
• Manage all incoming call volume to ensure that PCH remains below 5%
• Provide hair and wellness expertise and excellent service to guests, while achieving established sales goals
• Ensure each guest is offered a ritual of renewal during every visit, which may include a hand treatment, make-up application and/or neck and shoulder massage.
• Serve as a role model to students and a resource for all, regarding Aveda product knowledge and creating an excellent Aveda Service Cycle
• Ensure the retail experience center is “guest ready” at all times.
• Participate in monthly inventory.
• Present and reinforce a professional appearance at all times, in accordance with the Aveda Institute dress code.
• Attend meetings as required, which may involve minimal travel.

Minimum Requirements
