Job summary

Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, Ohio, is seeking a Part-Time Respiratory Therapist for daytime shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The role involves delivering respiratory therapies, monitoring patient responses, and assisting in critical care as directed by physicians and the Respiratory Manager.

Ideal candidates will have completed an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program, Ohio licensure, NBRC certification, and required BLS/ACLS/NRP; STABLE certification is also required or obtainable within

Qualifications

• Completion of Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Ohio Respiratory Licensure required.
• National Board of Respiratory Care Certification required.
• BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications required (may be obtained within orientation).
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required (may be obtained within first year).

Responsibilities

• Obtain, analyze, test, and monitor blood gas samples.
• Administer and monitor respiratory therapies and medications.
• Operate equipment for diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary disease.
• Provide care under physician orders and support patient care teams.
• Participate in emergency procedures and ensure adherence to policies.
