• Apply advanced clinical expertise and troubleshooting skills.
• Educate patients and families on treatments and procedures.
• Participate in handoffs and multidisciplinary communication.

Role Overview

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 5 years of experience to join the respiratory team. The position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Performing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures according to standards and guidelines.
• Applying advanced clinical expertise and troubleshooting skills.
• Educating patients, families, and healthcare team members on respiratory treatments and procedures.
• Participating in patient handoffs and collaborative communication.
• Supporting advanced procedures like ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, and sleep studies when needed.

Qualifications include an associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program, applicable licenses and certifications (e.g., Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT, BLS), with a preference for a bachelor's degree. Prior supervisory experience is not required.
