Job summary

Lone Star College is seeking an adjunct Respiratory Care instructor at Kingwood (TX). The position involves teaching courses, developing engaging lessons, and supporting student learning across day, evening, and weekend classes.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy with 3 years nonteaching field experience.
• Current NBRC-registered RRT and Texas Medical Board license.
• Program Director: Bachelor's degree with 4+ years as RRT and 2+ years teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Respiratory Care courses at various times and locations.
• Creates engaging lessons that promote student involvement.
• Submits required college reports and forms on time.
• Follows a course syllabus and institutional guidelines.
• Meets with and advises students by appointment or electronically.
• Assesses student progress and communicates results promptly.
• Maintains professional relationships with students and colleagues.
• Participates in meetings, trainings, and orientations.
