Job summary

FIVE18 Family Services seeks a part-time Resident Marriage & Family Mental Health Clinician (LPC and/or LMFT) in Lynchburg, VA. The role provides therapy to couples and families, adheres to professional ethics, and includes supervision toward licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in the mental health field; licensure eligibility as Resident in Counseling or Marriage & Family Therapy.
• Experience with couples and family therapy approaches.
• Strong documentation and billing skills for client charts.

Responsibilities

• Provide couples and/or family therapy to clients.
• Ensure counseling sessions start and end on time.
• Complete paperwork for client charts and billing promptly.
• Coordinate services with a multidisciplinary team and community partners.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with licensing board requirements.
• Schedule follow-up sessions, collect payments, and issue receipts.
• Participate in team meetings and required trainings.
