JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Plant Science Vegetable Crop Science Lab in the College of Agricultural Sciences invites applications for a part-time research support position(s). Education requirements vary depending on the job duties.

Typical duties for this position include:

• assisting the principal investigator and students in establishing field, greenhouse, and laboratory experiments on vegetables and other horticultural crops
• managing crops and research plots
• collecting and processing plant and soil samples
• performing biometric assessments
• collecting data

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
