JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Children’s Eating Behavior Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Kathleen L. Keller in the Department of Nutritional Sciences is seeking applicants to perform the following duties:

• Assisting with ongoing and planned recruitment activities
• Participating in new recruitment opportunities in the community
• Preparing laboratory test‑meals for delivering to children as part of research studies.
• Organizing study materials and sample kits for mailing to families.
• Entering and cleaning data.

Candidates are encouraged to have training in nutrition, food science or a related field, as well as to show attention to detail, a positive attitude, patience with children and a willingness to work as part of a team.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks:

• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
• Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
