The Kamal laboratory within the Center of Orthopedic Research and Translational Science at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA is hiring for a part-time temporary position. The successful candidate will work up to 20 hours per week and contribute to basic histology and molecular biology tasks, including microtomy and immunohistochemistry, with additional credit for dissection and related techniques.

Experience with PCR, western blotting, and basic cell culture is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

A part-time temporary position is available in the Kamal laboratory in the Center of Orthopedic Research and Translational Science at the Department of Orthopedics, Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. Position requires experience primarily with basic microtome sectioning and immunohistochemistry skills. Additional experience with animal dissection, basic molecular biology techniques (PCR, western blotting), and basic cell culture skills is a plus. Position will be up to 20 hours per week.
