Job summary

The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University is seeking a skilled Research Assistant to gain exposure to all stages of the research process. Your work will be supervised by Dr. Matthew Denes (Assistant Professor of Finance).

You will obtain and manipulate data, use statistics software such as Stata/SAS, and contribute to working papers and publications, with a strong emphasis on independence and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or anticipated within a year.
• A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and manipulate data from various sources.
• Construct and analyze data using statistics software packages.
• Assist with the production of working papers and publications.
• Other duties as assigned.
