American University's College of Arts & Sciences is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to support a project on the long-term impacts of ART access. The role involves literature review, data preparation and analysis, and contributing to a research manuscript under supervision.

The position is temporary (Aug 2026–Dec 2026), up to 20 hours per week, with a pay rate of $20.00–$25.00 per hour. Background checks may be required and on-site work in Washington, DC is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• Master's degree preferred; 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Literature Search: identify and read relevant literature, summarize current knowledge.
• Procuring and Preparing Data: procure and prepare data, learn data collection process, understand data structure and cleaning.
• Data Analysis: assist in designing and deploying data analysis in Stata, including descriptive statistics and regression analyses.
• Reporting: meet weekly and submit a weekly activity and findings report.
• Drafting Manuscript: contribute to drafting methodology and results sections of the manuscript.
