Responsibilities may include supporting lab start-up, operations and logistics, data entry and organization, project documentation, scheduling lab meetings, community engagement, and contributing to applied research projects with students and community partners.Supporting data management activities through data entry, coding, data visualizing, and generating reportsProviding laboratory support including coordinating schedules, scheduling meetings, organizing lab materials and archives, managing inventory, and maintaining documentationServe as point of contact and liaison for lab members and inquiries about the lab from Penn State students and/or community partnersMaintaining documentation and records related to research activities, personnel certifications, operating procedures, and safety requirementsAssisting with financial aspects of research activities including purchase requests and budget trackingSupport training sessions for lab members on new or existing data-related systemsAssisting with editing, preparing, and submitting summaries, reports, grants, and proposalsPrevious social and behavioral research experience is preferred.BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCESEmployment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICSPursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
