Achieve Test Prep is seeking a Remote Humanities/Economics Instructor to tutor adult learners pursuing college credit in humanities and economics. You will teach live virtual classes or provide one-on-one tutoring with materials provided by the school.

Ideal candidates have a degree in a related field, experience teaching adults online, and strong familiarity with eLearning tools such as Zoom, Moodle and Google Workspace. This 100% online role offers flexible scheduling for a part-time workload.

Qualifications

• Degree in Humanities, History, Economics, Philosophy, Political Science, Social Sciences, Education, or related field.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or coaching adult learners (online teaching preferred).
• Experience teaching Humanities, Art of the Western World, Ethics in America, US History, Macroeconomics, or Microeconomics.
• Strong eLearning or virtual classroom experience.
• Comfortable using Zoom, Moodle, Google Workspace, and other eLearning technologies.
• Ability to facilitate discussions and encourage active participation in a virtual classroom.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection, functional computer, and noise-canceling headset.
• Professionalism, dependability, strong organization, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned class schedules and act as substitute instructor as needed.
• Deliver engaging, clear instruction on mathematical concepts.
• Support diverse learners with varying backgrounds and confidence levels.
• Motivate and assist students toward exam readiness and course completion.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring when needed.
• Simplify complex concepts into practical examples.
• Adapt instruction in real time for different experience levels.
• Track student progress and share observations with the eLearning team.
• Collaborate with instructors and participate in team meetings.
• Perform other eLearning-related duties as assigned.
