Job summary

A business support team is seeking a part-time Remote Bookkeeper to maintain QuickBooks files and provide financial support to small businesses. This role requires a 2-year degree and QuickBooks certification. Ideal candidates will have strong typing skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Opportunities for growth in hours are available from 5 hours a week.

Qualifications

  • 2-year degree required, 4-year degree preferred.
  • QuickBooks Online certification is necessary.
  • Experience maintaining multiple QuickBooks files for multiple companies.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain multiple QuickBooks files by entering transactions.
  • Reconcile bank/credit card/Line of Credit/etc. accounts in QuickBooks.
  • Audit vendor and customer accounts for accurate A/P and A/R.
  • Provide accurate financial statements.
  • Obtain necessary documentation for accuracy of transactions.
  • Move small businesses towards their financial goals.

  • Audit vendor and customer accounts for accurate A/P and A/R
  • Provide accurate financial statements
  • Obtain necessary documentation for accuracy of transactions
  • Move small businesses towards their financial goals through consistent support and important reminders
Required
  • 2-year degree
