Job summary

My Access Medical Clinic is seeking a part-time Collaborating Physician to supervise and support advanced practice providers delivering behavioral health and ADHD services. The physician will oversee ADHD medication management, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide clinical consultation across complex cases.

This role includes limited direct patient care and serves as a clinical resource, quality assurance lead, and mentor to mid-level providers.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with active medical license in the applicable state(s).
• Current DEA registration and prescribing authority.
• Board certification in Psychiatry, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, or related specialty.
• Minimum of two years of post-residency clinical experience.
• Experience prescribing and managing ADHD medications across pediatric, adolescent and/or adult populations.
• Ability to meet state collaboration and supervision requirements for advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as collaborating physician for NPs and/or PAs and maintain supervision as required by state law.
• Provide clinical oversight for ADHD assessment, diagnosis, and treatment protocols.
• Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up visits as needed.
• Ensure adherence to prescribing regulations and participate in chart reviews and audits.
• Mentor and support advanced practice providers and participate in meetings and case conferences.
