Job summary

Broad River Rehab is seeking a part-time Rehab Tech to support our therapy team at a skilled nursing facility in Dayton, Ohio. The role involves assisting therapists, transporting patients, and preparing equipment for treatments.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of healthcare experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent is required, with a flexible schedule (10–15 hours/week).

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; able to maximize contribution as a team.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Minimum of one year healthcare experience.
• High School education or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Transport and move patients as directed.
• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for treatments; assist/ facilitate telehealth visits.
• Assist licensed personnel in patient care.
• Maintain awareness of changes in patient population, programs and patient conditions; inform licensed personnel.
• Establish and maintain relationships with staff, patients and families.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and patient information.
• Follow HIPAA policies and report any breaches to management.
