Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced 24-bed acute care unit. The RN will assess, plan, perform, and evaluate nursing care addressing patients' physical, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, discharge planning, education, safety, and participation in quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania nursing license with any applicable specialty training.
• Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop care plans.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, perform, and evaluate nursing activities to meet patient needs. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs. Develop and coordinate care plans, including education and discharge planning, in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Deliver direct care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostics, and evaluate intervention effectiveness. Collaborate with physicians and staff to resolve issues and optimize patient outcomes. Participate in quality, safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Ensure safety and compliance with policies.

Qualifications & Skills

Nursing license with specialty training, ability to perform assessments, strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Experience in acute care preferred.
