Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a plan of care for patients based on an assessment of nutritional needs and interdisciplinary care plans.
• Reviews physician diet orders and communicates with physicians as needed.
• Documents results of nutritional assessment and treatment in patient records.
• Provides nutrition education to patients, staff and community.
• Maintains accurate recordkeeping for scheduling and billing of activities.
• Oversees training and guidance of Graduate Dietitians and interns.
