Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced Part-Time Registered Dietitian for Natchitoches, LA. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to maintain nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with goals at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center and connected Courtyard of Natchitoches Nursing Home.

This role is scheduled for 16-20 hours per week, with 1-1.5 days on-site and 1 day remote, offering a hybrid schedule and weekly pay.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field required (prior to 2024).
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field required.
• Pass national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligibility.
• 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified as required by state.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experiencedPart-Time Registered Dietitianto our Cura Hospitality team inNatchitoches, LA. As a Registered Dietitian with Cura Hospitality, you will have the opportunity to identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individuals nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient’s/resident’s goals.*This position will be scheduled 16-20 hours per week, 1 - 1 1/2 days on-site and 1 day remote, covering the NRMC location and the connected Courtyard of Natchitoches Nursing Home.*

What you'll be doing:

• Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.


• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.


• Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.


• Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field


• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.


• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.


• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.


• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.


• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.


• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience working in healthcare or long-term care.

Compensation Range:

• $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience
