Qualifications

• Must hold Registered Dietitian License.
• 3-5 years’ experience in acute or long-term care.
• Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) relating to diet.
• Understanding of aging and nutrition needs of long-term care residents.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center.
• Advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on nutritional status.
• Interpret labs, nutritional intake, consumption patterns, and food/drug interactions.
• Maintain high standards of care and optimal nutrition for residents.
