Job description

Location: Norfolk, VA
Setting: In-home
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 - 5:00 pm
Pay: $15.00-25.00/hour depending on experience

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement life-changing ABA care in-home. You’ll work one-on-one with our patient's families, helping individuals learn new skills and reach new milestones.

  • Provide in-person behavior intervention services in an individual's home setting and community

  • Collect and record data on patient behaviors

  • Be available weekly for supervision by the Behavior Analyst

  • Attend team meetings

What You'll Need

  • Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field

  • Obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 90 days of hire

  • Experience or willingness to work with young adults with special needs

  • Reliable Transportation

  • Must have an active CPR Certification

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time

  • Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time
