Job summary

Forsyth County is seeking a part-time Recycling Center Attendant to help run the recycling convenience center. You will greet customers, explain disposal guidelines, collect fees, and operate basic equipment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the facility, directing waste into correct bins, recording cash receipts, maintaining cleanliness, and reporting issues to supervision. A HS diploma and 2 months related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two months of prior recycling center operations or related work.
• Ability to perform light maintenance and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Opens/closes recycling center daily; manages alarms and gates.
• Assist customers with services, fees, and procedures.
• Determine acceptability of materials and guide disposal options.
