Job summary

CHR Heartwood Home in Willimantic, CT is seeking a part-time Residential Aide to support a 12-bed recovery residence. You will help residents with daily living, participate in education groups, and assist staff to maintain a safe, structured environment.

The schedule is Friday and Saturday 7am–3:30pm, totaling 16 hours weekly. Compensation ranges from $19.28 to $27.98 per hour; rates are pro-rated for part-time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Human Services with responsible work history.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; CPR & First Aid certification or obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintains physical environment and program standards per CHR and licensing standards.
• Monitors residents' medications per policy and procedure.
• Communicates day’s events to staff and assists with rehab skills teaching.
• Aids residents with nutrition, hygiene, budgeting, home care skills, and daily living.
• Prepares and facilitates educational and skill-building groups as directed.
