Job summary

K&G Fashion Superstore in Baton Rouge is seeking a part-time Store Receiving Associate to support daily receiving and merchandise processing. You will help ensure items are checked in, tagged, hung, and placed on the correct floor or staging area.

You will input receiving data into the Store Receiving and Transfer (SRT) System, maintain paperwork, and collaborate with store teams to minimize shortages and overages while upholding company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness and productivity of receiving process.
• Ensuring the merchandise is correctly checked in, ticketed, hung, folded, tagged and delivered to the proper staging or selling floor area on a daily basis.
• Inputting all receiving information in the Store Receiving and Transfer (SRT) System and Manager’s Workstation in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintaining all receiving paperwork and files.
• Processing in a timely and accurate manner all RTVs, transfers and damaged merchandise according to Company procedures.
• Ensuring proper receiving procedures are used to eliminate and/or control inventory shortages and overages.
