Job summary

Huntington Learning Center in Yorktown, NY is seeking part-time tutors to support students in K-8 with reading, math, and writing foundations.

You’ll tutor in 1:1 or 4:1 settings with flexible hours after school, earn $17–$20 per hour, and receive paid training plus professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

We are currently looking for Part-Time tutors at our Yorktown center!! The position being offered is for our:

Skill-based Program:

• Work with students between K-8th grade.
• Focus on the foundational skills: reading comprehension, lower level math skills, and writing.
• Instruct in either a 1:1 or 4:1 setting.
• There are no lesson plans to write or homework to grade.

Huntington Teacher Requirements include:

• 4-year degree required.

Center Hours (School Year):

• Monday-Thursday: 2-8:30pm.
• Friday: 2-8pm.
• Saturday-Sunday: 9am-5pm.

Center Hours (Summer):

• Monday-Thursday: 9am-8pm.
• Friday-Saturday: 9am-1pm.
• Sunday: 9am-3pm.

*Please note that we do not hire seasonally, as this is a year-round role.

Compensation:

$17-$20 commensurate with experience.
