Sorogi is seeking a Registered Dietitian to lead the nutrition component of a maternal and child health program. This part-time independent contractor role requires an RDN credential and DC licensure, with experience in maternal and child health or WIC and in group instruction and counseling low-income families.

The role includes curriculum development, virtual sessions, and occasional in-person cooking demos, with hybrid location in Washington, DC and compensation up to $35,200 per year.

Qualifications

• RDN credential and DC dietitian license required.
• At least two years in maternal and child health or WIC nutrition.
• Experience teaching groups and counseling low-income families.

Responsabilités

• Lead nutrition components from education to counseling for maternal health.
• Develop curriculum and meal boxes aligned with guidelines.
• Deliver monthly sessions and one-on-one counseling through pregnancy and post-birth.
• Co-lead in-person cooking demonstrations with the Community Chef.
• Train CHWs and liaise with partner clinicians.
