Qualifications

• Provide medical nutrition therapy for behavioral health patients.
• Educate patients on healthy eating for recovery and wellness.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, and nurses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy for patients with mental health conditions, eating disorders, and other behavioral health needs.
• Educate patients on healthy eating habits to support recovery, overall wellness, and long-term health.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, nurses, social workers, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Lead one-on-one nutrition counseling sessions and group nutrition education classes.
• Help improve patient outcomes through the power of Food as Medicine.
