Job summary

Gentle Dentistry of Carmel Valley in San Diego, CA is seeking a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist to join our private practice and help grow our hygiene department. This is a steady part-time schedule with in-person work.

You will work 2 to 3 days per week, 9:00am–5:00pm, with opportunities to transition to full-time as the practice grows. Responsibilities include preventive services, patient education, and independent chairside work.

Qualifications

• Current, active California RDH license required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own column.
• Strong patient communication and preventive care recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Grow the hygiene department within a private Carmel Valley practice.
• Perform preventive dental care and patient education.
• Deliver sealants, fluoride and other preventive services as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate care with the dentist.
