Job summary

Iday LLC is seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist in New Jersey. You will provide top-notch dental care, screen patients, perform cleanings, and assist dentists with exams. The ideal candidate is NJ state-licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has 1–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold NJ Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• 1–2 years of dental hygiene experience.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations and safety guidelines.
• Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Take vital signs and record medical histories.
• Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories.
• Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection.
• Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments.
• Teach good oral hygiene techniques.
• Take x-rays.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.

Skills

Education

Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene
