Job summary

Dental One Associates Eagles Landing in Stockbridge, GA is seeking a part-time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our periodontal team. The ideal candidate will assist the Periodontist with specialized procedures, review treatment plans with patients, and help ensure a comfortable, smooth experience.

You must hold an active RDA credential, current X-ray certification, and have at least two years of hands-on dental assisting experience.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential required.
• Current X-ray certification required.
• At least 2 years of hands-on dental assisting experience.
• Periodontal or specialty dental experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable discussing treatment plans with patients.
• Patient-focused, dependable, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Periodontist with periodontal procedures and patient care.
• Review treatment plans with patients and help them understand recommended treatment.
• Communicate treatment recommendations clearly and answer patient questions.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain instruments and equipment.
• Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records.
• Follow infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Help create a positive, comfortable experience for every patient.
