Job summary

Heartland ABA in Creston, IA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to deliver one-on-one ABA services in clients’ homes or community settings. You will implement skill-building plans with fidelity and collaborate with a clinical team to support positive outcomes for children with autism.

We value patience, compassion, and a calm demeanor; RBT certification is required before working, and a 6-month commitment is preferred. Part-time opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT certification is required before working.
• Desire to work with children with autism.
• Ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Must be willing to commit for 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
