Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System (Indiana) seeks a part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures in the hospital's Radiology Department, maintaining radiation protection and ALARA principles in all exams. You will work in the Main and ER areas with various portable and fluoroscopic equipment, delivering high-quality images.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, assisting radiologists during fluoroscopy, preparing rooms, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT licensure.
• Indiana State X-ray Operator Certificate.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures with emphasis on ALARA.
• Position and transfer patients for imaging.
• Assist radiologist during fluoroscopy and exams.
• Prepare patient and exam room prior to radiologist arrival.
• Maintain patient records and charges accurately.
• Ensure radiology equipment is cleaned and room stocked.
• Adhere to HIPAA and safety standards.
