Job summary

Memorial Hospital Belleville is seeking a Part-Time Radiology Technologist to perform general imaging radiographic procedures for adult and pediatric patients. The role includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and benefits eligibility for part-time staff.

Shifts are mid-day and evening (9:30am–8:00pm or 12:00pm–10:30pm), with 24 hours per week and three days of work. Requires an Associate degree or trade school equivalency and RT(R) certification.

Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical and surgical services plus critical and emergency care including Children’s at Memorial for pediatric emergency care. Memorial Hospital Shiloh, a 94-bed, all-private suite hospital was recognized with Magnet status in 2018 and provides emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical and surgical services plus critical care.

The Diagnostic Radiology Department at Memorial Hospital provides diagnostic digital radiographic imaging for our inpatients and outpatients. The radiology department includes a variety of digital and computed radiography, fluoroscopy, and mobile radiography.

Role Purpose

The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders

Responsibilities

Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism. Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
