Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln is seeking a Radiology Technologist (Part-Time) to perform quality radiology procedures safely. The role is in the Department of Radiology in Illinois, with 40 hours per week required and a starting pay of $26.35 per hour plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include accurate image documentation, proper patient positioning, adherence to ALARA and hospital protocols, and operation of PACS/HIS systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• ARRT Radiography (R) within 1 year of hire.
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accurate image identification and documentation in patient records.
• Determine the portion of the body to image and position patients appropriately.
• Follow policy, protocol, and hospital guidelines during procedures.
• Maintain a neat work area and clean equipment.
• Capture exams with correct collimation and shielding.
• Process images to the PACS system and ensure high-quality results.
• Use ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure to staff and patients.
• Utilize HIS to obtain patient data, verify orders, and process charges.
