Job summary

Memorial Hospital Belleville, part of the BJC HealthCare System, is seeking a Part-Time Radiology Technologist to perform general imaging for adult and pediatric patients. Shifts are mid-day to evening with a 24-hour weekly schedule, on-site at Memorial Hospital Belleville in Belleville, IL.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree or trade school equivalency and are registered radiologic technologists (R.T.(R)).

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school equivalency in radiologic technology.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)) certification.
• Experience in vascular interventional, neurovascular, or general radiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with high-level customer service.
• Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call or portable settings when required.
