Job summary

Dayton Children's - South Campus in the Advance Medical Imaging department is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist. The role requires producing quality diagnostic images for patients of all ages using all available diagnostic equipment, including EKG and patient registration.

The position supports a 2nd shift with weekend rotations and cross-training into limited CT. CPR, ARRT Radiography, and Ohio licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences is required.
• Radiologic License - Ohio Department of Health is required.
• ARRT in Radiography is required.
• CPR is required.
• Cross-training into limited CT may be required (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Produce quality diagnostic images on patients of all ages using diagnostic equipment including EKG and patient registration.
• Provide services with minimal supervision and with adherence to quality parameters set by the Medical Imaging Department.
• Educate patients and parents regarding procedures performed within the center.
• Maintain department goals for patient satisfaction and accuracy of patient registration.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth continuum of care for patients.
