Job description

Position Summary

Working in our Plaza del Sol Community Health Center in Corona, Queens, we are seeking a dedicated X‑Ray Technologist to join our team. This is a part‑time position for 16 hours per week, 2 days per week.

Location: Corona, Queens, NY.

Responsibilities

• Produces radiographs within scope of services.
• Set up and operates radiographic and magnetic imaging equipment used in medical diagnosis and/or in treatment of patients.
• Prepares the room and briefs patient on nature of procedure.
• Provides positioning and immobilization devices as needed.
• Selects and operates equipment according to exam protocols. Provides radiation protection according to safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certificate from accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Knowledge of electronic health records and managing patient data.
• Bilingual Spanish/English highly desired.

Compensation

Hourly rate is $40.00–$50.00 per hour, contingent on experience level.
