Townsquare Media Lafayette is seeking a Part Time Producer & Digital Content Creator for KPEL. The role supports on-air shows and digital platforms across multiple stations, shaping daily sound and online presence.

You will create two daily local articles, publish diverse digital content, and engage audiences across social media. Ideal candidates have a strong on-air presence, basic FCC knowledge, and proficiency with WordPress, NexGen, and Adobe Audition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong on-air presence and ability to engage listeners.
• Knowledge of FCC rules and current events.
• Experience with digital content across web and social platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support live on-air shows Monday–Friday in a part-time capacity.
• Create and publish at least two original local articles daily for the website/app.
• Produce, edit, and publish digital content across WordPress, video, galleries, and social.
• Write and schedule social posts; engage with audiences across platforms.
• Coordinate guests, remote broadcasts, and station events.
• Represent the station at promotions and community events.
