HCA Healthcare is seeking a part-time Radiation Oncology Nurse to support patient care throughout the radiation treatment journey. Qualifications

• The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act.
• Utilizes therapeutic communication in daily practice.
• Identifies nursing problems as they relate to the patient’s needs.
• Plans individualized patient care with an interdisciplinary approach.

Responsibilities

• You will evaluate the patient throughout their radiation treatment journey and educate on potential side effects and management.
• You will implement and monitor patient care plans.
• You will schedule diagnostic and/or radiation treatment planning exams.
• You will monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• You will serve as a primary coordinator of the multidisciplinary team to ensure well‑coordinated patient care.
• You will implement and document physician and nursing orders.
• You will assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the multidisciplinary team.
