Qualifications

  • Graduation from a senior high school or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Valid Nebraska driver's license.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and throughout employment.
  • Must pass a DOT/FTA Drug and Alcohol Test within sixty (60) days of employment and be subject to random DOT/FTA Drug and Alcohol Tests.
  • Must become certified in CPR, AED and Basic First Aid through the American Heart Association and maintain certification through refresher training.

Responsibilities

  • Operate buses and related motor vehicles for the transportation of residents or clients.
  • Maintain passenger safety and discipline; ensure safe operation of vehicles.
  • Keep mileage, vehicle service and related records up to date.
  • Comply with all laws and regulations concerning motor vehicle operation.
