Job summary

New Ulm Community Access Television seeks a part-time producer to coordinate and deliver coverage of public meetings and events. You will support daily office duties, operate cameras and audio, and assist with editing and post‑production to produce ready‑for‑air content.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years in mass media or related field, and a valid driver’s license. Schedule includes weekdays with some evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.
• 1–3 years of experience in mass media, photo or video production preferred; associate degree may substitute for work experience.
• An associate’s degree in video or television production or related field may substitute for work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily NUCAT office duties: DVD orders, compressing video files, programming channel content, and equipment check-in/out.
• Assist with production of original staff content including producing, camera and audio operation, and post-production techniques.
• Use production equipment to cover City Council, PUC and other commissions for coverage and events such as debates and forums.
• Assist local producers with video editing and studio productions.
• Record and produce on-location events.
