Job summary

Island Health in Anacortes, WA is seeking a Physical/Occupational Therapy Aide for part-time days. You will assist therapists, prepare patients for treatments, maintain the outpatient area, and handle clerical tasks to support the POST department.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and adherence to hospital policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a clinical or similar setting preferred.
• Experience in outpatient rehab or acute care setting strongly preferred.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Must maintain active BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with patient care and prepare patients for treatment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the outpatient area and keep equipment stocked.
• Perform clerical tasks and assist in reception duties as needed.
• Assist in accurate documentation of patient information, including DME records.
• Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives and team communications.
