Success Education Colleges (SEC) invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty – Psychology Instructor in Provo, UT. This role delivers high-quality psychology instruction to RN-to-BSN students, in on-campus, hybrid, or online formats, aligned with accreditation standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Psychology (or related field) and/or a Master’s with substantial psychology coursework; prior college teaching experience is preferred. Part-time position with hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Master’s degree in another discipline with at least 18 graduate semester credit hours in Psychology.
• Prior postsecondary teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned psychology courses in accordance with approved curriculum, course outlines, and student learning outcomes.
• Deliver engaging instruction through lectures, discussions, case studies, assignments, and technology-enhanced learning activities.
• Integrate psychological concepts with nursing, patient care, and healthcare-related applications.
• Develop and maintain course syllabi, lesson plans, instructional materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently through exams, projects, participation, and written assignments.
• Provide timely feedback and academic support to promote student success.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grade, and student progress records in accordance with institutional policies.
• Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) for communication, grading, and course delivery.
• Foster a professional, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
• Participate in faculty meetings, training, curriculum review, and professional development activities as assigned.
• Uphold academic integrity and comply with institutional policies and accreditation standards.
