Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in Georgia is seeking a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to manage psychotropic medications at their Facility Based Crisis Center. This role requires conducting psychiatric evaluations and managing medications for adults experiencing crises.

The ideal candidate will have the relevant licenses, certifications, and ideally 3 years of experience in behavioral health care. Flexible hours from 8 to 20 hours per week are offered in a community-based facility.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Psychiatric Nurse.
• Preferred 3 years of experience in behavioral health care.
• Valid driver’s license with personal vehicle insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations.
• Manage medications for adults.
• Consult with staff and participate in regulated supervision.

Skills

Experience with the supported population

Limited supervision and direction

Knowledge of standards of practice

Education

Certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner or physician assistant

National certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Nurse Practitioner
