Job summary

The Boring Company is hiring an entry-level, part-time team member in Bastrop, TX to support production of Tunnel Boring Machines. This role includes material handling, powder coating, and machine operation such as forklifts and plasma cutting.

You will perform drilling, tapping, grinding, and finishing work while maintaining safety and quality standards. Weekend and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with hand/power tools, forklifts, or other heavy equipment is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with urgency.
• Able to maintain a safe and clean working environment per policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift for material handling and transfer.
• Operate plasma cutter for production of parts.
• Powder coat parts.
• Drill and tap as needed.
• Relocate parts and materials manually.
• Grind and prepare metal for welding.
