Intelligentsia Private Coffeebar is seeking a part-time Barista in Chicago to prepare beverages and food to the highest standards at 200 E Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60601. You will warmly welcome guests, ensure quality, and work with a team focused on hospitality and precise execution.

The role emphasizes passion for coffee, strong English communication, and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment while upholding brand standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
• Enthusiasm for coffee and tea.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve beverages and food that adhere to the company’s freshness and quality standards, ensuring they reflect the recipe and presentation standards.
• Warmly welcome guests, engage with a sincere and friendly manner, greet with a smile, thank patrons, and prepare drinks efficiently.
• Adhere to all company standards and policies behind the bar and in front of house, including cash handling and safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace so teammates can locate resources quickly.
• Assist in training and development of new staff and educate guests and staff on all coffee and teas carried.
